The hardest part of AI right now isn’t choosing a tool. It’s about working out which problems are worth solving and identifying real opportunities from passing trends. It’s knowing where to start without committing to the wrong thing, and how to keep thinking clearly as the work unfolds. Advise is for business leaders who want peers to think this through with them, properly, at the right moments. Sometimes that’s a focused engagement; sometimes it’s an ongoing thinking partnership.
Usually one of these is happening:
Every Advise engagement is shaped to the question. Some are a single half-day working session and a written position document a week later. Some are two or three weeks of analysis, vendor landscape, opportunity mapping, and options assessment, finished with a working session and a document you can take to your board. Some are project-based, sitting alongside a defined initiative for the months it takes. Some are ongoing partnerships, a monthly or quarterly cadence that means a senior partner is always available when you need one.
What stays the same is the work itself. We get into the specifics of your business and the question you’re actually trying to answer. We do the thinking properly. We come back with a clear position you can stand behind; written down where it needs to be written down, spoken through where conversation works better, defensible either way.
What doesn’t happen: weeks of stakeholder interviews to produce a deck no one reads. Strategy work that hedges every claim. Advise you can’t trace back to a reason. Decisions taken out of your hands.
Advise is priced to fit the engagement shape. Sprint-style work is typically fixed-price, scoped against the specific question. Project-based or longer engagements use either a fixed price or a day-rate against an estimated commitment. Ongoing partnerships are monthly. Industry complexity is the consistent variable, regulated industries (financial services, health, government) involve more rigour, slower cycles, and higher stakes than less-regulated ones, and that’s reflected in the cost. We scope and quote firmly once the brief is clear. No hidden hours.
